Without darkness, there is no faith.

Image
We have to have darkness in our lives, we can't live without it. It's a curious statement to say we need it, so let's  take a look at darkness. Darkness is a sense of something that is evil. .Darkness is sinister and unforgiving. It is sometimes the very thing that brings us to our knees without warning. It wreaks havoc with the people we love. Knowing all of this and knowing how it plays freely in our minds and daily lives, why do we need it?    Wouldn't we better off without it? Well, without darkness how would we recognize light?  Darkness was here first, then came light, which exposed darkness. so we could recognize the difference. Withour darkness, how would we know to stay close to those with light and to shy away from those  who are surrounded by evil?  How would we develop courage, bravery, strength, determination, resilence, etc. without darkness? However darkness does expose certain people who may need our help providing they will listen and may ev...

The Prayer Garden

Image
During the next few weeks, praying and meditating will be the focus of this blog. Here's the first post. My two best friends, Paul and Rich, have what they call "prayer gardens.' They visualize a place where the people they pray for are in a special, unique, lush  garden that's filled wilh loved ones who have   departed this earth, people in need, and special situations and circumstances that need healing. In today's world, we have have many people and things to pray for, so it is reassuring that there is a place  where all of our prayers are together guided by the mystical hands of the Holy Ones. There's no need to pull the wseeds; that was done for us long ago.

Do we need permission to change?

It seems that we as a people have stopped caring in one particular way. We've stopped caring what  people think of us; and to some extent, that's a good thing. Some say it's an age thing; but I disagree.  I believe that it's personal  experiences that drains us to the point where we absolutely have no energy to respond to the finger pointing and constant criticism. It's not my job  to make people feel good about themselves, while they tear me down under their critical eye.  It's not being dismissive of others, we  just need to find  a place to rest from being exhausted, tired, and  drained from  others offering their opinions about us. What we should wear, how we should 'look', how  we should act, etc.  Some of  these people have good intentions. Their feedback are grounded in sincerity, concern for our  health and well-being. They are offering suggestions not marching orders. We love these people.  because they care....

Are metaphysical gifts from God?

The question shouldn't be "are metaphysical gifts from God?" The questions should be "where did these gifts come from?" Were we born with these or did we acquire them akong the way?  The big questions of course, are these gifts demonic in nature? Are they from the Lord of Demons? (Satan) Some people scoff at all these questions, but metaphysical gifts, in my opinion as a clairvoyant medium, and possessing a Doctorate in Philosophy and a PhD in Metaphysical Humanistic Sciences, are from a higher power. Hopefully, they are used correctly with good intent, acknowledging that we use these gifts for our best and highest  good.  Metaphysics in general go beyond or past the physical. The gifts that are most discussed are psychic, mediumship, and clairvoyant, with mediumship being the most controversial, even though we talk to our loved ones all the time such as when times are tough, or when a memory comes up,etc. One of the reasons mediumship is controversial to some i...

Organized Religion & New Age Spirituality

Why is there a gap between Organized Religion and New Age' Spirituality? Why can't they peacefully co-exist?  Here's some of the comments I've heard about organized  religion and new age spirituality.  ORGANIZED RELIGION- Too controlling, too much guilt & shame, outdated belief system, not a welcoming environment, too much structure, etc.. NEW AGE SPIRITUALLY- no structure, all  metaphysical practices, no borders or boundaries, no consequences, no tradition to build upon, no responsibility when it comes to honoring history & tradition, etc.     I have heard these comments (extreme as they are) as a Catholic and a clairvoyant medium. However, there is a glimmer of hope if  two mindsets can be addressed.  MINDSET NO.1 -RELIGION- Addressing the fact that many (not all) people have left in search of  freedom to explore new ways of connecting to the spiritual realm and to freely express that connection.  MINDSET NO.2- NEW AGE- Re...

The Universal Dream

"Keep an open mind." We've all heard it as it usually pertains to a singular situation. The issue however is that once the mind opens to a new possibility, it soon withdraws, closes, and goes back to its safe place nestled in amongst the pillows of coventional wisdom, We're then told to quit daydreaming and come back to reality.  That's an odd way to look at things isn't it? Aren't we supposed to follow our dreams? Didn't the doers and thinkers of generations past, dream of great accomplishments first before putting them intto practice?  These great inventors,of medical cures, literary excellence, music, art, health, industry, machines, etc. didn't invent themselves...they needed a soul to give them life. Isn't 'come back to reality', code for 'come back to the mundane'? To the normal? To the average, Come back to that place where our espectations for you were and still are limited, because after all, you're not going to do ...

Building Bridges

Isolation is a quiet beast that sneaks up on us and before we know it, we find ourselves alone with no one in sight. There are a multitude of ways that we find ourselves isolated. For some, isolation is their calling of sacredness. For others, however, if we stop and question about how we arrived at this place of loneliness and separation, perhaps there's at least one answer.  One of the reasons could be laying in a distant corner of our mind...bridges. Our mental landscape is littered with bridges that have collapsed around us because of things that have happened. However, upon further inspection of the bridges, it appears there has been some sabotage. We, as saboteurs burned some of those bridges down. Sometimes,we are the cause of our own isolation. Sabotage efforts such as jealously of others, spreading gossip, discrimination, undermining loved ones, being disrespectful, disloyalty, mean spirited, etc. Bridges of life are meant to connect people together. When all the bridges ha...

Code Blue and the Dragonfly

Welcome to my first blog in 5 years. For those who previously followed my blogs, CHANNELING THE MOTHERSHIP and BEYOND THE RATIONAL REALM, welcome to my new blog SPIRITUAL VISION. So, let's begin with this blog that I wrote 5 years ago. 'I spent eight months in the hospital finally getting a heart and kidney transplant in Jan. of 2020. The first 45 days I was in and out of comas and getting shocks to my heart...sometimes multiple times a day.  During this time Mary, my wife designated my sign as a dragonfly. Dragonflies represent New Beginnings, Transformation, Hope, Peace, and Love amongst many other things. Today, I was walking in the medical plaza for a doctors appointment when I came upon a sign that read CODE BLUE Room-Kidney. About 20 feet in the hallway ahead of me was a dragonfly on the floor.  The message and symbolism was not lost on me; time to get moving and live my life.  I survived my ordeal and have proven at the age of 71 that it's never too late to t...
