The Secret World of a Dream Part 2

 WHY DO WE DREAM?

The brain receives stimuli from many different sources all day long.

There are far too many stimuli for it to process., so The mind prioritizes the stimuli and makes you aware of those that need immediate attention,so that you may act accordingly.

The stimuli that you are not consciously aware of are nevertheless noted by the brain, but on a subconscious level

Furthermore, you feel emotions all day.  Some you acknowledge and some you repress, especially trauma, and it goes to the sub conscious level.

At night, while our body is asleep, the mind continues to work getting the signals, thousands of

stimuli and enotions to the conscious level. Since we're asleep. we cannot receive the signals at

a conscious level like we would normally do when we're awake, the only way for the brain to

get these signals is to dream. It is the portal from the subconscious to the conscious.

It is one of the closest ways we can connect beyond this world, because deep in our subconscious

lies wonderful things that have not yet reached their destination.
